What Makes a Great Review

• Be specific: Instead of “nice place,” explain what made it nice. Comfortable seating? Friendly regulars?
• Include relevant details: Game types, skill levels, pricing, parking, noise level
• Be balanced: Share positives and areas for improvement
• Update when things change: Revisit and update your review

Review Do's

• Write about your own firsthand experience
• Focus on the place, games, and overall experience
• Mention which mahjong variant(s) you played
• Note if you're a beginner, intermediate, or experienced player
• Include when you visited

Review Don'ts

• Don't review places you haven't visited
• Don't review places you own, work at, or have financial interest in
• Don't copy reviews from other sites
• Don't include personal attacks
• Don't share private information about individuals

Fake or Misleading Content

• Reviews for places you haven't visited
• Reviews by owners/employees about their own place
• Paid or incentivized reviews
• Multiple fake accounts
• Deliberately false information
• Impersonation

Harmful Content

• Hate speech or discrimination
• Threats of violence
• Bullying or personal attacks
• Content sexualizing minors
• Glorification of violence or illegal activities

Privacy Violations

• Posting personal info without consent
• Sharing private conversations
• Photos of individuals without permission

Spam & Illegal Content

• Unrelated advertisements
• Repetitive or duplicate content
• Malicious links
• SEO manipulation
• Content promoting illegal gambling
• Copyright infringement

When adding or updating place information:

• Verify the place exists: Only add places currently operating and offering mahjong
• Provide accurate details: Double-check addresses, phone numbers, hours, and URLs
• Select appropriate categories: Choose game types and place categories accurately
• Don't duplicate: Search for existing listings first
• Report changes: Let us know if a place closes or moves

• Only upload photos you took: Don't use images from other websites without permission
• Show the place: Focus on the space, games, and atmosphere rather than people
• Get consent: If individuals are recognizable, get their permission
• Keep it relevant: Photos should relate to the place and mahjong experience
• No offensive imagery: Don't upload inappropriate or obscene photos

Transparency builds trust. Please disclose any conflicts:

• Place owners/staff: You may not review your own place. Use our business tools to manage your listing instead.
• Competitors: Don't write negative reviews of competing places to benefit your own business.
• Personal relationships: If reviewing a friend or family member's place, disclose the relationship.
• Incentivized reviews: Reviews in exchange for compensation or discounts are not allowed.

Content Review

• We use automated tools and human review to monitor content
• Community reports help identify problematic content
• All flagged content is reviewed by our team

Actions We May Take

• Content removal: Violating content will be removed
• Warning: First-time or minor violations may result in a warning
• Temporary suspension: Repeated violations may result in suspension
• Permanent ban: Serious violations result in permanent termination

If you believe your content was removed in error, appeal to [email protected]. Include your username, the content in question, and why you believe the action was incorrect.

We review all appeals and respond within 5 business days.
